Gord Haines, owner of Gord’s Appliances, was one of those kids that always seemed to be tinkering with machines and motors. He was forever taking things apart and putting them back together trying to figure out how they worked. The fact that he became a journeyman appliance technician is no surprise to those who knew him growing up. This isn't just a job to Gord; it’s something of a calling. He takes pride in keeping current with the industry, repairing appliances, taking care of customers’ homes and treating them with respect. And he is willing to tackle messy and complicated jobs that other technicians prefer not to touch.
